Our Founder
Joe Nash (1957–2019)
In 1975, Joe Nash founded the local print shop Derby City Lithographing, the sister company to the Nash family-owned Duplicator Sales and Service. Joe was dedicated to the success of the printing company he built in Louisville and passionate about the craft of printing. He believed strongly in staying ahead of the industry, investing in new technology and ongoing training for himself and his employees. His commitment to quality, innovation, and people helped shape the values that still guide Derby City Litho today. A devoted family man, Joe’s values were reflected in the way he treated his employees—with respect, care, and loyalty. He dedicated more than 40 years of his life to Derby City Litho until 2019, when he courageously succumbed to a hard‑fought battle with cancer.
Derby City Litho would not be what it is today without Joe’s vision, leadership, and lasting legacy.
